1. Acceptance of the terms

By using this website (the “Website”) you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. About the Website

The Website is operated by SIA “Rīgas Zeļļi Management”, registration No. 40203481902, Strēlnieku iela 5-42, Riga, LV-1010 (“we”). It provides information about the basketball club “Rīgas Zeļļi”, its team, games, news and partners, and links to third-party services such as ticket sales.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Website only for lawful and personal purposes. You must not:

• disrupt the Website or compromise its security;
• use the Website for unlawful purposes;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website’s systems or data.

4. Accuracy of information

The game calendar, results and opponent information are retrieved automatically from external sports data sources and may be updated with a delay or contain inaccuracies. Official game information is available on the official websites of the respective leagues (BKT EuroCup, Latvian–Estonian Basketball League, Latvian Basketball League). Game times are shown in Riga time.

5. Intellectual property

The Website content – texts, photos, videos, design and the “Rīgas Zeļļi” club name and logo – belongs to us or is used with the permission of the rights holders. It may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. You are free to share links to Website pages.

6. Third-party trademarks and logos

The Website displays names, trademarks and logos owned by third parties:

• BKT EuroCup, EuroLeague and EuroLeague TV names and logos belong to Euroleague Basketball and its affiliated companies. They are used because “Rīgas Zeļļi” takes part in the BKT EuroCup and in line with the competition rules that require this information on the club’s website.
• Other clubs’ names and logos (EuroCup participants and game opponents) belong to the respective clubs. They are used only to identify competition participants and opponents, and the links lead to those clubs’ official websites.
• Sponsor and partner logos belong to the respective companies and are shown with their permission to indicate their partnership with the club.

The use of these names and logos does not imply that their owners endorse the Website or are affiliated with us beyond the competition or partnership. All rights remain with their owners. If you believe any material on the Website infringes your rights, email rigaszelli@rigaszelli.lv – we will review it and remove the material where necessary.

7. Advertising

The Website shows BKT EuroCup advertising slots and partner advertising. Advertising content is provided by Euroleague Basketball or the respective advertisers, who are responsible for the goods and services advertised. With your consent we measure how well our own ads (for example ticket campaigns) work using Google, Meta and TikTok tools.

8. Third-party services and links

The Website links to and embeds content from third-party websites (for example ticket sales, Instagram, YouTube, Flickr, EuroLeague TV). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices – they are governed by the providers’ own terms. Tickets are sold on the ticketing and events platform Passportix (shop.rigaszelli.lv), and purchases are governed by its terms. Anything that involves entering personal data or making a payment happens outside the Website, in the relevant third party’s systems. We do not provide payment services or process payments.

9. Limitation of liability

The Website is provided “as is”. We aim to keep the information accurate and up to date but do not guarantee that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for the availability or operation of third-party services. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the Website or reliance on its information.

10. Privacy and cookies

How we process personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy. Analytics (Microsoft Clarity) and marketing (Google, Meta, TikTok) tools are loaded only with your consent, and you can change your cookie choice at any time.

11. Changes

We may amend these terms. The current version and its date are always available on this page; continued use of the Website means you accept the amended terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved by negotiation and, failing agreement, by the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
